Only Yours Truly…

I’ve been applying for scholarships and grants left and right ever since I was accepted to the colleges I’m considering.  Problem is, I seem to be ridiculously clumsy when it comes to satisfying deadlines and getting forms filled out by the right people.

My latest goof?  After multiple trips into the counseling office to get a certain scholarship application completed by my counselor, (and a couple weeks of waiting for her to finally get around to it), I pick it up and lose it all in the same day.  Come on, right?!  That’s pretty gross.  I also managed to lose some forms for putting a few pieces into an upcoming art show, along with a newspaper article featuring a picture and blurb about my latest colored pencil piece displayed in the high school’s senior art show.

I also seem to have come down with an extremely severe case of senioritis.   It’s beyond slacking and not caring, it’s flat-out not getting shit done.  Work?  Psh.  I haven’t done anything for my employer for about three weeks now.  Granted, I’m broke, but will that change anything?  Hmph!
